Ways You Can Help Us

Pray for us.

We are the praying kind of people. If you are too, we would appreciate your continuing prayers for us and for our friends who live under bridges and in sketchy rooming houses.

People tell us they want to pray for us, but are uncertain just what to pray for… Go here to sign up for a twice a month email prayer letter that will tell you how best to pray for Love Wins Ministries.

Give to us.

Over 100 people a week, largly the very poor and homeless, are directly impacted by the ongoing work of Love Wins Ministries. We spend hundreds of dollars a month on boots, food and other miscellaneous needs that come up as a result of loving very broken people. In addition, we maintain a full-time presence on the streets and in the soup kitchens and slums of inner-city Raleigh. If you are able, we really would appreciate it if you could help support our work financially. (Go here to become a member of our support team)

Maybe you are not in a position where you can help us out financially. No problem – here is a list of things we always need. If you can help us with any of them, we sure would appreciate it!

Talk about us.

Following Jesus calls us to have authentic relationships. This is why we won’t cold call churches or send unrequested info packets – it just is not relational. What we need is for you to do is:

Talk about Love Wins Ministries with your friends.

Get on our email list to find out what we are up to.

Tell your pastor about what we are doing out here.

Take Hugh or one of our crew of volunteers to church with you and introduce us to your pastor and friends.

Get your small group or congregation to invite Hugh to speak.

Put a link to our website on your blog, Facebook or MySpace page.

Follow us on Twitter.

Join our cause on Facebook and invite your friends.

Forward our newsletter to your friends, your Sunday School Class or Pastor.

Love.

We would love to have you come out and meet some of our friends, or we can help your small group or congregation with your efforts to create a love oriented ministry to the poor in your neighborhood. Either way, just email Hugh and we can get things started.
